rejoice in our union patterned from the earth.
spin me with your spirit's rhythm
move me into love's deep cavern

let Him dance with us as we form into one

my mystic smiles the blues

his soul seeping out of his knowing eyes

he hears music others can't hear

and dances with me

when night stirs secrets

of tangled sorrows

wrapped in blessings.

a short row away sits an island

covered in unfurled ferns

tall, feathery fan ladies

swaying to a jazzy breeze

luring you to settle into it's nesting

with their spreading ease.
